Let us celebrate together the half century since our Bi-Centennial Year MLHS Commencement Ceremony!

Get together with classmates and friends to relive memories from growing in and going to school in Mountain Lakes, and share the stories of our lives since then.

Whether a "K-12", or someone who joined in Wildwood, Lake Drive, Briarcliff or the High School, we all have contributed in some way to the class, the town, and each other.

Friday, 1:00: Class Lunch at Island Beach Pavilion

A variety of sandwiches will be provided. Cost is $25/person

Friday, 7:00PM: Homecoming Football Game vs Boonton

At Wilkins Field. Go Herd! Tickets must be purchased online from this link (though at this time the homecoming game is not yet posted).

Friday, Post-Game Gathering: The Black Rabbit, 8 Main Road, Montville (Formerly Poor Henry’s)

Saturday, 10:00AM: High School Tour (Meet at Briarcliff Field)

Join us for a stroll from Briafcliff to the high school at 10:00, or meet at the main entrance of the high school for the 11:00 tour start.

Saturday, 12:30pm: Birchwood Lake Walk

Meet at Birchwood Beach. Feel free to bring lunch for after the walk.

Saturday, 2:00-4:00PM: Mountain Lakes Historic Preservation Archives Open House

Located at the Community Church, enter at the back Nursery School entrance. When's the last time you got to read the Citizen's police blotter?

Saturday, 7:30PM: Class Banquet at Hapgoods

Formerly the Mountain Lakes Market. Cocktails at 7:30 out front (cash bar); Dinner inside at 8:00 PM. Cost is $95 with drinks available separately at a cash bar.

Saturday post-Banquet: Mountain Lakes Homecoming Party & Community Celebration

This beloved Mountain Lakes 15 year-old tradition, hosted at the home of Jamie Rodgers (MLHS ’85) Enjoy live music, open bars, a beer garden, a pig roast, passed hors d’oeuvres, and complimentary local car service. Tents will cover the main party area, ensuring the celebration goes on rain or shine! Tickets are purchased online from the Mountain Lakes Alumni Association using this link.

Sunday: Informal brunch at leisure (individual self-planning)

Who Should Come?

All MLHS 1976 Class Members; others who would have been in the class of 1976 but graduated early, moved, or attended another school; and anyone else with close connections to the class of 1976.

Are Guests Invited?

Absolutely! Please bring your spouse, significant other, or anyone else. If you bring a guest, please be sure to RSVP for two and purchase two tickets for the events so we are able to accommodate everyone.

Are Advance Ticket Purchases Required?

Advance ticket purchases are required for the Friday Lunch and Saturday Banquet since food needs to be arranged for these events. Ticket purchases and shirt orders will be closed midnight, October 11.

Are There Any Provisions for Lodging?

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Marriot Courtyard in Parsippany. Use this link to book one of the rooms.

Are Any Souvenirs Available?

Has your Laker wardrobe inventory been depleted over the decades? A special "Mountain Lakes 1976" t-shirt (see here) is available for ordering along with your event tickets.
